More information can be found at Bertelsmann Accounting Services is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join their team.Main Responsibilities:* Maintain specific accounts in the general ledger (account analysis and bank reconciliations)* Government reporting (abandon property reporting)* Maintaining cash journals* Prepare 3rd party distribution statements* Prepare Ebook accruals (Data Warehouse/Business Objects)* Hurt Revenue reporting* Prepare summary schedules and journal entries for month end closing* Support month-end and year end close process* Assist with the preparation of annual forecasts and budgets* Other special projects as assignedEducation*BS Accounting or FinanceProfessional experience / competencies / traits*2+ years of working experience*Strong analytical skills*PC Proficiency to include MS EXCEL*SAP*Fixed Asset Accounting*Abandon property reporting*Business Objects experience*Self-starter with impeccable attention to detail*Proactive and independent approach to workPenguin Random House is the leading adult and children's publishing house in North America, the United Kingdom and many other regions around the world.
