Major Responsibilities* Ensures that each Guest receives outstanding Guest Service by providing a Guest friendlyenvironment which includes greeting and acknowledging every Guest, maintaining outstandingstandards, solid product knowledge and all other components of Guest Service.* Empowered to guarantee total guest satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to ourguests at all times, take pride in representing AURO Hotels professionally with our guests andassuring that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal and ethical manner.* Understands and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safeenvironment for associates and guests at all times. In the event of an accident or emergency,gets medical attention if necessary and contacts the GM or Human Resources immediately.* Maintains a favorable working relationship with all company associates to foster and promote apositive working environment.Essential Job Functions* Knows and follows established cleaning procedures to maintain a high standard of cleanlinessfor guest rooms according to AURO Hotels' or Brand Standards.* Assists colleagues when own workstation is completed.* Properly uses all cleaning fluids and supplies.* Properly places guest amenities, eg, toilet paper, tissues, guest service directories andturndown amenities.* Perform and complete any special projects or reasonable requests assigned by management.* Knows and actively practices the hotels' emergency procedures and loss prevention guidelines.* Sorts, counts, folds, marks, and carries linens.* Makes beds (triple sheeting) with clean sheets in excellent condition and dusts furniture.* Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses and writing supplies.* Moves furniture, hangs drapes, rolls carpets and replaces light bulbs.* Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.* Transports trash and waste to disposal area.* Replenishes bathroom supplies. Sweeps and scrubs bathroom floor.* Perform all duties in a safe manner and monitor those actions of others.* Cleans lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways, when requested* Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.* Washes walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.* Stocks and replenishes linen rooms if necessary.* Sweeps patios/balconies and ensures cobwebs are removed.DisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed bypeople assigned to this classification.
