Sales Development Representative
Company DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Sales Development Representative's role is to drive new business opportunities for all product lines by executing targeted outbound campaigns. This position plays an integral role in increasing Quadient brand recognition and creating awareness for our full suite of products and solutions. The SDR will support and grow federal, state and local government agencies. This role will have a responsibility to manage government leases and drive business development into targeted government agencies.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:* Generate interest in Quadient's products and services by executing outbound call campaigns.* Understand the prospect's business and communicate compelling solutions that addresses their needs.* Deliver Quadient's value proposition with conviction, instilling a sense of confidence in our ability to deliver results.* Qualify interest and secure leads and appointments.* Accurately update and maintain the CRM with call activity and detailed notes.Required Experience/Skills:* Minimum of two years of experience in a business development or sales environment* Experience selling to state, federal and local government agencies preferred.* Successful experience developing new logos and penetrating new accounts.* History of success selling multi location, solutions-based software, hardware and services* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience* Requires effective communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, presentation) with internal and external customers.* Strong proficiency in MS Word and Excel and CRM systems.* Strong contract database administration experience.* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple activities and short turn-around times* Effectively interact with "C-Suite" level and "influencers" of the organizationLooking to advance?
