You will plan, organize, secure, and manage resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives. You will partner with project stakeholders, internal customers, external vendors, and cross-functional teams. You will facilitate a cross-functional team to execute on defined deliverables and drives key decisions. Uses industry recognized/generally accepted PM knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to achieve a projects stated objectives.In this role you will be asked to assist with the deployment of new processes, tools and strategies for the success of the overall program as well as the individual projects and areas you serve. Building successful relationships will be important to your ongoing success.Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:Lead medium/large and/or moderately complex projects under moderate to minimal supervisionBuilds relationships with key stakeholders and project resources to drive key decisions and ensure timely project completionProduce and report on KPIs and metricsBudget management typically includes tracking and monitoring spend to project milestonesDevelops detailed project schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports as neededTracks key project milestones and adjusts project plans and/or resources to meet needs of customersEstablishes and implements project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet customer expectationsReports on project progress throughout the project lifecycle, including the ability to forecast.Communicates major milestones and identifies potential project risks; conducts regular status meetings to review project activities; manages prioritization proceduresAble to work independently or as part of a team to solve larger issues or mitigate ongoing risks or process gaps.Sets and manages expectations, managing and escalating issues and changesDevelops methods to measure customer satisfaction; obtains feedback at critical milestones and at project completion to ensure that project efforts meeting customer expectations for time, and resultsProactively anticipates and identifies tasks required to support change including standardization efforts, verbally communicating complex issues, verifying that tasks are completed, and communicating implementation statusCreates and applies project control techniques that reduce risk from changing technological infrastructure, hardware, automations, systems software, or applications systemsManages, the creation and tracking of processes, procedures, and documentation that improve environment stability, availability, and consistencyQualifications:Minimum:3 years of experience in related field (ie Change management, process improvement, project management) or academic equivalent training or projectsWorking knowledge of functional or related processesDemonstrated problem solving and analytical thinking skillsAbility to work within multiple tools and systemsPreferred:BS/BA degree in related disciplineExperience in telecommunications industry and/or enterprise constructionExperience with Cox construction project types and challengesExperience with WATTS, Sitetracker, ICOMS, OptixWho We AreAbout Cox CommunicationsCox Communications is committed to creating meaningful moments of human connection through broadband applications and services.
