The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for college candidate recruitment for PenFed's summer internship program and other college hiring initiatives along with the planning and execution of PenFed's summer internship program. This role will represent PenFed at in-person and virtual college recruiting events such as career fairs, information sessions, employer panels, resume clinics, and interview days. The incumbent will support hiring managers and business leaders by hiring top college talent while maintaining sound recruiting processes to ensure a great candidate experience. This position may directly interact with PenFed leadership to achieve business objectives.ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of job duties and the position will perform other duties as assigned.Conduct campus recruiting activities including the recruitment of student veterans.Maintain multiple requisitions simultaneously in an applicant tracking system (ATS) for a variety of internship as well as part-time and full-time roles.Conduct intake meetings with managers for internships and other early talent roles.Create behavioral based interview questions suited for each role based upon hiring managers' desires.Screen resumes to identify best qualified applicants.Conduct phone screens and select qualified candidates to proceed with additional interviews with hiring managers. Take notes and provide hiring managers with recommendations in interviewing and hiring decisions.Coordinate candidate interviews with hiring managers and oversee all interview logistics, including scheduling (virtual and in-person), conference room reservations and preparation as required, and maintaining an overall positive candidate experience.Negotiate compensation, draft offer letters, verbally extend offers, and initiate the hiring and onboarding process for all college hiring initiatives including Direct Hires, Internships, Co-Ops, and intern-to-full and part-time employee conversions.Assist on project teams related to talent acquisition initiatives.Maintain an active pipeline of quality college level candidates in support of current internship and early talent roles and future business needs. Maintain a POC list with targeted universities' personnel.Participate in offsite related recruiting activities that may include attending campus internship and career fairs, networking events, and information sessions.Plan and deliver in-person and virtual PenFed hosted internship program information sessions.Serve as the liaison between candidates, hiring managers, and human resources staff.Execute recruiting strategies and best practices to deliver top-quality college talent that meets hiring requirements in a timely and consistent manner.Provide accurate and thorough documentation on candidates in PenFed's applicant tracking system.Maintain accurate records of individual recruitment metrics and candidate engagement through individual recruiting activity trackers.Ensure the documentation and maintenance of accurate and concise records and reports concerning all phases of the recruitment process, including EEO statistics.Engage with and develop recruiting-oriented relationships with targeted college career offices.Distribute internship postings and other recruitment materials for college career offices in accordance with their recruiting policies.Plan, coordinate, and execute internship program events, including teambuilding activities and commencement ceremony and weekly internship training during the summer internship program.Create and maintain an organized summer program calendar, including coordination with PenFed executives and other external speakers.Serve as a liaison between interns and capstone project sponsors. Ensure the intern project is meeting deadlines, operating efficiently, and is properly presented to PenFed executives.Complete regular 1:1 check ins with interns during the program to ensure positive intern experience.Coordinate intern and intern conversion onboarding and logistics including but not limited to IT/Access information, training material, housing and other accommodations, "swag" items, etc.QualificationsEquivalent combination of education and experience is considered.Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field is required.Minimum of one (1) year recruiting or related experience preferred, preferably in college recruiting or internship program execution.Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about recruiting with an excellent work ethic and strong interpersonal, organizational, and interviewing skills.Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems preferred; iCIMS experience is preferred.Experience with a HRIS system is preferred, specifically PeopleSoft.Experience as an Intern is preferredProficient in MS Office - including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Must be comfortable maintaining a presence on professional online networking sites.Strong communication and leadership skills.
