Sheehy Auto Stores is seeking an experienced General Sales Manager who is energetic, positive, and possess great people skills to join our team. This role is hands-on, and involves working leads, desking deals, making sure contracts and rebates are collected, and training sales staff. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of stable employment as either a GSM, Sales Manager, or Finance Manager. Candidates should also have a verifiable track record of profitability, market share performance, and above average CSI in order to be considered for the position.ResponsibilitiesCoach sales team on proper closing techniques through training and active participation, and lead profitability of your teamsLead all showroom activities and maintain an experienced level of product knowledgeEnsure high Customer Satisfaction scores and analyze these metrics to isolate areas for improvementHire, motivate, and monitor the performance of New and Used team, Internet Sales, Finance Managers and Service Drive SalesConduct daily and weekly sales training meetings for Sales and Product SpecialistsMentor new and experienced sales reps on standard methodologies for improving performanceEnsure proper follow up of all prospective buyers by developing, implementing, and monitoring a CRM systemEstablish delivery procedures and monitor performance and executionGuarantee delivery includes an introduction to the service department and scheduling of the first service appointmentAchieve forecasted goals and objectives for dealership and OEM sales, gross, and key expenses on a monthly and annual basisRequirementsMinimum two years of GSM experience with responsibility for the entire variable operation of a successful dealershipPossess successful history of building and training a sales team, strong CSI scores and above average gross and net departmental profitsStrong background in building showroom and internet traffic, SEO and SEM, direct mail and other traditional mediaExtensive background in leading a BDC departmentSome experience in Used Vehicle purchasing, merchandising and marketingExpertise in supervising the everyday efforts of desk managers and improving F/I income through mentorship and trainingAuthorized to work in the USAAble to pass pre-employment background screening, Motor Vehicle Record check, and drug testMust have a valid driver's licenseBenefitsHealth, Vision and Dental InsurancePaid TrainingCareer Advancement401(K) with profit sharingWe believe in investing in our employees from the very beginning.
