Energize your career at Exelon!PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONThe Sr. Financial System Analyst will support the accurate planning, reporting, and analysis of financial results using the PHI financial planning tool called Utilities International (UI) Planner. This role will be responsible for integrating data from various sources into UI planner, creating monthly LE scenarios, and performing data checks to validate that the data was integrated correctly. The responsibilities will also include investigating system issues and fulfilling ad hoc requests from various internal departments to support the maintenance of the application. Additionally, the role will analyze financial statement accounts, and provide data and support for both regulatory filings and FP&A deliverables.PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIESFinancial System Actuals and Forecast Data Processing - Update the UI Planner System during the monthly close, forecast, and long term planning process. This includes loading ?nancial statement data into the application as well as maintaining the chart of finance accounts and other attributes in the system. Must be able to prepare data/system reconciliations and communicate results to the nance team (25%)Financial System Strategic Development - Assist in identifying and implementing opportunities to improve the effciency of UI Planner processes, lower process cycle times, and better support regulatory filings (25%)Financial Reporting- Prepare the month-end, quarterly and full-year forecast/reports, including reporting packages (Internal, Executives, Board of Directors), monthly latest estimate (LE), quarterly management meeting presentation, Board of Directors meeting presentation (25%)Financial Analysis and Modeling- Provide financial analysis and reporting for management on Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
