At Canada Goose we endure any condition, observe every detail, and take the long view in order to keep the planet cold and the people on it warm.Here, opportunities are everywhere - to try something new, to learn, to do meaningful and impactful work, and they're yours for the taking.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Act as a front-line brand ambassador to guests and team members of Canada GooseBe visible to guests as they enter the store premises and control access to propertyAcknowledge guests as they enter and exit the propertyContribute to a positive store environment through effective communication, teamwork and partnership with brand ambassadors and store management teamAssist in creating a safe work environment for our associates and customersAssisting in the protection of the work and assets at our storesAttend and participate in all store meetings and eventsDemonstrate values and behaviours consistent with Canada Goose's cultureDevelop and maintain a professional relationship with all internal partners, mall security and other retailers to ensure all parties are well-informed with current and relative informationEnsure the facility's safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and on-site emergenciesComplete and submit CG Incident reports within 24hrs of eventPlay an integral role store cycle counts and physical inventory processSupport initiatives to maintain brand standards in delivery and merchandising processDirect connectivity with the Sr. Loss Prevention Manager for Canada Goose to help influence brand strategies for mitigating lossResponsible for maintaining standards for store security equipmentSupport the completion of monthly Operational Control Checklist and Action Planning to increase store operational standards (if applicable)Be able to directly connect with customers and store associates with a customer service mindsetMember of the JHSC and responsible for the completion of monthly Health & Safety InspectionExperience, Education and Designations:2-3 years' experience working in retail with knowledge of workplace safety and emergency proceduresExperience in Loss Prevention or Retail Security is an assetRecognized and valid first aid and CPR certificatesApplicant will be required to obtain Security Guard licensing if not currently licensedKnowledge, Skills and Attributes:Must be a team player with a keen sense on collaboration and growth mindsetExcellent English communication skills both written and verbalMeticulous record keeping, report writing and observation skillsExceptional judgment, common sense and decision-making abilityGood physical well-being and able to walk, stand for long periods of time, climb stairs and lift objects up to 20 lbsAvailable to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidaysAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
