AV Service Field Engineer's Primary Duties: Perform service calls, troubleshoot, and resolve problems with A/V systems Perform preventative maintenance of contracted systems Commission and test systems after installs Load and tweak DSP files QA systems after performing work Train clients on use of A/V systems Assist in systems installation when necessary Crimp, solder, wire pull, label, terminate, and other technical tasks associated with A/V systems Maintain a professional appearance and attitude Resolve all customer service issues with management Maintain all associated paperwork in a timely manner (timesheet, expenses, etc.) Follow system drawings and wiring details Submit markups when needed Van inventory, maintenance and appearance Full compliance with company's policies and procedures Job Requirements:Help troubleshoot and repair equipmentExecuting field service and maintenance workEnsure the field service techniciansEnsure proper repair and maintenance proceduresMeet all field service metrics including on time preventative maintenancePerform installation and repair of digital equipment at customer sitesPromote service parts and preventative maintenance contractsUpdate parts inventory and maintenance and repair computerized systemsManage all field service activityPerform in-house as well as field repairPerform preventative maintenance and manage regional preventative maintenance schedulesProvide equipment operation and basic maintenance and repair training to customersAssist service and parts department with repair ordersPerform all preventative maintenance and audits on equipmentBuild and maintain repair ordersPerform field resolutions of customer service requestsLead company field service operations per customer requirementsProvide repair and maintenance of general biomedical equipment as secondary responsibilityProviding technical sales support, equipment demonstrations, training, sample processing and field service installation and repair of inkjet and related equipmentWork directly with customers to ensure the correct installation for new equipment, and maintenance, repair, and service for existing equipment installations
