VP Finance

Company is seeking a full time VP of Finance located in the Fairfax, VA area. This position is full time working for our internal corporate team.Responsibilities-Responsible for preparing and maintaining corporate level budget and forecast-Collaborate with operations, program control, contracts, and accounting to ensure accurate and up to date forecasting-Responsible for consolidating financials, analyzing against budget/forecast, and reporting to management and Board-Prepare and analyze contract backlog and waterfall reporting for management, Board, and bank-Assist accounting with month-end close, review, audits, etc., as necessary-Assist the growth team with proposal pricing, as necessary-Assist the CFO and with M&A efforts and other special projects, as requiredQualifications * 8-10 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting * MBA or CPA preferred * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Professional, dependable, strong work ethic, detail-oriented, self-motivated * Ability to communicate with all levels of management * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Proficient in Excel
