SUMMARYThis position will be responsible for preparing initial and re-disclosure loan disclosure documents during the loan process and to ensure compliance with applicable Federal and State Compliance Regulations as well as internal policies and procedures. The Disclosure Desk Specialist will work with the Loan Officers, Processors, and credit union members to ensure disclosures are accurate and delivered to the appropriate parties on time. Thorough knowledge and understanding of regulatory and compliance issues affecting all aspects of the lending process are needed.S3 has a commitment to excellence and the highest standards of member service. Our values and beliefs are critical to the success and growth of the business and they were all created with a unique cultural foundation.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare Initial and Re-Disclosure packets for FHA and Conventional loans.Review loans on a daily basis to determine if changes that have been made constitute a Change in Circumstance and require re-disclosureCommunicating with Loan Officers, Processors, and credit union membersMaintain organization and structure with day to day responsibilitiesDaily reporting of pipeline status to managementAdditional job-related projects as assigned by managementWork in collaboration and partnership with other team members QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of Empower as an LOSMinimum 1 - 2 years of Mortgage experience preferredKnowledge of Federal and State compliance regulations including (but not limited to):TILA-RESPA Integrated Mortgage Disclosure RuleTILARESPAECOAStrong research and analytical skills with a high degree of accuracyProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessaryExcellent customer service skills with a high attention to detailAbility to prioritize workload based on department requirements and member needsAbility to work flexible hours as neededAbility to multi-task in other areas of the unitAptitude to work independently as well as part of a teamPositive attitude and team-orientedAbility to function in changing environmentSTANDARDS OF PERFORMANCEProfessional representation of S3 Shared Service Solutions, LLC.Job knowledge/timely, accurate and efficient performance.Adherence to S3's policies and procedures.Promotes and ensures the highest level of quality member Service is provided to all members.Confidentiality of all records.Timeliness of meeting regulatory guidelines.Compliance of regulatory requirements.Success in meeting individual, departmental, and corporate goals.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTIESNoneWORKING CONDITIONSThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
