The primary purpose of this position is to lead IT teams in the development, delivery and support of innovative strategies, processes and technical solutions that advance advance IT division objectives and standards aligned with PenFed strategy. The director will promote the engagement and professional development of managers and employees within assigned responsibility areas, lead strategy and define architecture road-maps for enterprise information technology platforms and manage the engineering of those platforms to defined standards. This role will be responsible for managing cross-functional engineering resources, working closely with enterprise operations to ensure enterprise platforms are properly managed and ensuring teams follow all enterprise processes effectively in the execution of projects, requests and incident management. The Director of IT Employee Experience leads the team responsible for the selection, design and operational support of Employee Experience products and services to support PenFed strategic objectives, and is responsible for developing the road-map for these technologies. Additionally, this position will be tasked with enhancing how employees use and interact with technology, with the goal of optimizing the user experience and maximizing employee satisfaction, efficiency and productivity. This role requires close collaboration with other IT and Business leaders, as well as IT Application and Security teams to ensure successful delivery of services.ResponsibilitiesManages an IT staff of 15 - 40 employees (senior managers, managers, supervisors, technical leads)May oversee work performed by contractorsParticipates in the development of IT division objectivesDirects the design, development and implementation of technical solutions in the relevant IT technical disciplines in support of IT division objectives and PenFed strategy goalsManages multiple complex projects or technical functions requiring enterprise-wide integration and servicePromotes industry best practices and supports IT division standardsManages the development of - and ensures compliance with - IT division technology and security standards, governance processes, and performance metrics to ensure IT delivers value and security to the enterpriseWorks with business, service providers and vendors to establish SLAs that support business objectives.
