Job SummaryThe primary function of a Project Manager is to plan, coordinate, execute, and maintain an effective field construction organization utilizing the necessary engineering, labor, equipment, materials, tools, subcontracted services, and other company resources to effectively perform the scope of contracted work within an allotted budget and time schedule.Company OverviewWe specialize in the construction of Office Buildings, Mixed Use, Industrial, Educational, Government, Healthcare, Multi-family Residential, Hospitality, Parking Structures, Interiors and Renovations. Our approach to each project ensures we are always working in the best interest of our clients, whether it be early identification of a potential cost impact or the possibility for a schedule delay, our approach will ensure our client's interests are always protected.Essential DutiesDevelop and track a project schedule including trade manpower loading for the projectEstablish project cost control centers for tracking of equipment, material, labor, subcontracts and miscellaneous costsDirect trade planners in the development of shop drawings and coordinate the planning efforts with other tradesDevelop the piping trade construction standards for the projectProcure and manage project subcontractors and equipment vendorsInspect the jobsite on a regular basis for contract compliance, workmanship, and safetyFollow-up on any required warranty work and maintain contact with owner to insure customer satisfactionManage large jobs with minimal supervisionEstimate changes in scope of workMinimum Requirements5-10 years' experience in commercial HVAC mechanical piping, plumbing and sheet metalExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenExcellent organization skillsSolid knowledge of the construction processGood computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft Project
