Build applications using specified programming languages (C/C++, Java, Python, etc). Build graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for applications. Respond to evolving requirements in an agile environment. Develop code for new functionality. Create, execute and modify/improve unit tests for code segments. Provide input for new or enhanced functionality during design and test reviews. Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule. Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Support Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Perform other duties as directed. What You'll Need: BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field is required plus 2 or more years related experience. Each higher-level degree, ie, Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education. 2+ years' experience developing Windows or Unix applications. 2+ years' experience developing programs using, C, C++, Java, Python or other comparable languages. Containerization platforms (RedHat Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.) experience desired but not required. Software Defined Radio (SDR) experience desired but not required. Signals acquisition, analysis, processing experience desired but not required. 1 or more years leading projects developing complex software, within a collaborative environment, and employing configuration management. Experience implementing software life cycle management (requirements, design, develop, test, validate, deploy).
