LAC Federal is seeking a Part Time Program Managerto provide overall management and supervision of a complex data and knowledge management focused library services program for a Federal Agency in the Washington, DC area. The Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring on-time, high quality deliverables and supervising a mixture of remote and on-site staff. The Manager serves as the single point of contact between the Government and LAC Group to resolve all technical and personnel issues.Responsibilities:An individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.Responsible for overall management of the contract, including quality assurance for all products delivered to the Government and availability of resources to complete all Task Orders. Act as a single Point of Contact to the Contracting Officer and the COR.Respond to all requests from the Government for information or problem resolution within two hours during business hoursActs as hiring manager for all project staff working closely with recruiters to draft position descriptions and interview candidatesAddress performance issues with staffQualifications:An individual should possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed and meet the amount of education, training and/or work experience required.Bachelor's Degree in library and information science, business administration, or other relevant fieldDemonstrated experience of excellent verbal, presentation, and writing skills;Performance level at the equivalent of 10 years of experience in Program Management;Proven leadership skills with a collaborative management style that will facilitate interaction with supervisors, colleagues, customers and corporate partners;An active Project Manager's Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.Candidates must be able to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 by December 8, 2021, for considerationPhysical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time and to maintain focus on projects such as computer screens or detailed paperworkOccasionally lift, push/pull, hold/carry of items weighing up to twenty-five (25) pounds such as files, books, and other materials.LS is an equal opportunity affirmative action employer and administers all personnel practices without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, veteran status, genetics or any other category protected under applicable law.
