Technical Analyst II TECHNICAL ANALYST II The Select Group is looking for a Technical Analyst to join one of our top government clients in Herndon, VA! This person will sit on-site, providing their expertise with tier 2 escalations. Ideal candidates will have previous experience with tier 2 escalations - experience with IBM WebSphere, knowledge of both Oracle and SQL databases, and comfortable working in a customer-facing environment. TECHNICAL ANALYST II REQUIREMENTS: Experience with IBM WebSphereKnowledge of SQL and Oracle Databases Identity Management experience - working with CA Suite Products such as Siteminder, IDM/API or GatewayComfortable with hardware/software troubleshooting and closely work with Developers and Testers for Application troubleshooting Previous exposure to the installation, configuration of IAM toolsCert Renewal Process. Generate CSR's and work with Certificate Authority Management team to request the certsPrevious experience working with a ticketing system, preferably ServiceNow. TECHNICAL ANALYST II RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide tier 2 technical support which will require troubleshooting various applications in the environmentHighly specialized in one or more phases of software systems development, systems integration, or network engineering.Acts independently under general direction. Provides technical assistance and advice on complex activities. Formulates / defines specifications, develops / modifies / maintains complex systems and subsystems, using vendor engineering releases and utilities for overall operational systems.Applies analytical techniques when gathering information from users, defining work problems, designing technology solutions, and developing procedures to resolve the problems.Develops complete specifications to enable computer programmers to prepare required programs.Reviews task proposal requirements, gathers information, analyzes data, prepares project synopses, compares alternatives, prepares specifications, resolves processing problems, coordinates work with programmers and engineers, and orients users to new systems.About The Select Group:We are TSG - a fast-growing technical services firm serving the US and Canada.
