If this position sounds like a good fit and you have a track record of delivering solid results, please apply.Position OverviewThe individual(s) selected for this position will perform software/hardware upgrades, ensure backups are being performed regularly, ensure that the platforms are performing to their potential, and address any issues that arise. Develop and maintain infrastructure/process logs, documentation, process metrics, process schedules, security, and capacity trending.Position RequirementsProvide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systemsProvide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problemsManage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systemsProvide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systemsProvide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problemsProvide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customersOptimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planningConfigure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure networkCoordinate and support full cycle implementation, application development, ongoing optimization and stabilization of applications, and assist in ensuring timely deliverablesExperience supporting technical applications such as (but not limited to): IBM/Netezza, Informatica, Computer Associates: Workload Automation, Microsoft SQL Server, Epic Clarity/Caboodle, Oracle, and/or Hadoop/Big Data.Education/Certification RequirementsA Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Data Science, or a related discipline.In some cases, years of experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
