ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:Performs all legal professional and administrative staff recruitment as described above in addition to participating in initiatives as directed by the Hiring and Retention and Diversity and Inclusion Committees.Develop positive and healthy working relationships with Professional and administrative hiring managers, conducting regular check-ins, meetings and updates to ensure their needs are being met.Identify the best methods and market resources available to attract the most qualified and best candidates.Use UKG PRO HRIS for recruiting, resume collection and onboarding.Responsible for the implementation and execution of the Summer Associate program to include integration into the firm and its processes, planning activities and managing the work assignment process.Responsible for other aspects of recruiting, which include sourcing and negotiating lateral partner hires and memorializing terms of employment including the integration of lateral partners into firm processes.Responsible for implementation of the non-partner performance management process, for both the initial 6-month review and year-end performance and compensation within the market step program for salaries.Annual research and preparation of statistics for Partners to identify candidates and select new partners and senior associates.In conjunction with the Diversity and Inclusion Committee and Human Resources, execute the Firm's D strategy to include policy recommendations, program initiatives and establishing metrics to measure effectiveness. Responsible for the timely response to D client surveys and requests.Implement, update and maintain viRecruit, viEval and viLMS modules, ie, serve as Firm Administrator for back-end integration and configuration of user interface for recruiting, performance management and CLE/learning management functions. As the Firm's primary human resources/payroll application is UKGPro, the RM must work within the Recruiting and Onboarding modules of UKGPro and ensure that all legal professional personnel data is accurately replicated in the UKGPro system.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least 3 years of progressive legal recruiting experience and diversity and inclusion.Possess and exhibit integrity and professionalism in all aspects of the position.Exceptional communication, interpersonal, negotiation and consensus building skills.Knowledge of industry standards, emerging trends and best practices for seeking Legal Professionals, Partners and Administrative Staff members.Strategic problem solver with an aptitude for creativity, ingenuity and resourcefulness.Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a dynamic results-driven work environment.Foreign language(s) proficiency a plus.Proficiency in HRIS systems (UKG Pro experience a plus), knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.Desire to create and maintain top notch, and high performing recruiting services.Identify the best methods and market resources available to attract the most qualified and best candidates.
