DescriptionProject ManagerBethesda, MD Full TimeTribalco is actively seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate must be a self starter that is highly motivated with the ability to effectively communicate with project stakeholders. An ideal candidate must also be able to develop budgets, supervise installation teams, Manage projects in accordance with the PMI PMBOK, must be active in process improvement, tracking of budget expenses, project planning and performance management. Candidates must be able to obtain US Security Clearance and are expected to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS) to support project needs on a regular basis. Travel Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) may be required on a less frequent basis.Responsibilities: Provide pre-sales support, assessments, written documentation and technical guidance within their regional operation Schedule, pricing, and communication plan development Management of multiple projects with various entities Proactively and consistently communicating internally and externally, to include status meetings Develop and perform presentations to high ranking government officials Manage and maintain relationships with electrical contractors, general contractors, architects, and engineers throughout the United States Ensure that projects are completed in an efficient and professional manner Ensure that projects come in at or under the budget that you propose Manage and track all tasks associated with a project utilizing MS Project and in compliance with CMMI standards Manage and determine impact of any and all project risksDesired Skills: At least Three (3) to (5) Years-Project management experience with contracts in excess of $1MM (government contracting experience a plus) Solid grammar and writing skills Excellent verbal skills and demonstrated ability to quickly develop good relationships with both management and staff as well as customers Proficient with Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint High to expert knowledge of wireless systems including, LMR, Wi-Fi, Cellular, in addition to strong awareness of emerging technologies Experience with the field installation of communications infrastructure Knowledge of R56, ANSI, IEEE standards 3 to 5 years- Experience with managing contractors 3 to 5 years- Experience managing vendors Proposal Experience a plus Ability to effectively translate customer requirements into proposal and quote documents Leverage both proven and innovative technology approaches to solve challenging business problems. Ability to effectively manage projects and coordinate activities with external partners Analytical ability and decision-making skills Demonstrate strong teamwork ability; focus on results, enabling businesses to operate more effectivelyEducation and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in or related field required. Postgraduate degree is a plus. Minimum of 3+ years of project management experience PMP certification required.Clearance: US Citizenship is required. Active Secret Government Security Clearance is required.Compensation: Compensation is competitive and is commensurate with experience.
