This Salesforce instance serves as our enterprise CRM and workflow assisting our entire loan lifecycle process, facilitating over $41 billion in commercial real estate property transactions last year. The role requires strong collaboration with application development teams, business teams and key stakeholders. This position demands a well-organized, action-oriented team player with exceptional time management and communication skills to simultaneously support multiple initiatives.Visa sponsorship may be available for this role.What you will be doing:Work as part of our dynamic Salesforce team throughout the software development life cycleCollaborate with and mentor team members through code review, design and knowledge sharingParticipate in the full application life cycle from technical design, administrative activities to development, automated testing, and deployment, including data quality and designDesign and implement critical solutions on the platform utilizing Visualforce, Apex, D/HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOJO, AJAX, and other technologiesActively engage in an Agile (Scrum) environment with a focus on iterative and test-driven methodologiesEnsure adherence to continuous improvement practices as required to meet quality/time-to-market imperativesAssists with user story grooming to better define technical configuration changes and translate business intentParticipate in development of W's next-generation Salesforce platform (Lightning)Communicate issues, risks and concerns proactively to management and communicate and problem-solve daily with teammates, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders, possibly in combination with travelOther skills related to building a career in Salesforce development!The education and experience we're looking for:Minimum 4 years of development experience with SalesforceMinimum 5 years of software development experienceBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline or related experienceExperience working in an Agile (Scrum) environmentWhat skills you should have:Expert-level experience in Aura components, LWC components, Apex and Visualforce developmentExperience in API developmentExperience building Web-based UIs with a deep understanding of HTML,JavaScript (including libraries such as jQuery and Prototype) and CSSStrong knowledge of object-oriented concepts and design patterns andprior work with OO languages (eg Java, Ruby, C#, C++)Prior experience with an MVC framework (eg Ruby on Rails, Struts)Effective decision-making and critical thinking skills for problem identification and solution recommendationsAbility to be flexible, set priorities and meet deadlines in a changing environment for self and teamStrong time management skillsPassionate in providing excellent customer serviceOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsDetail-oriented while consistently looking at the big pictureAbility to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processesCourtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholdersStill reading?
