We need our Web Developer to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team-oriented environments and who have exceptional communication, analytical and organizational skills.PROJECT:Parsons is sourcing candidates for a project within the Department of Defense to provide a wide range of skills and expertise to perform technology development, testing, integration of hardware and software applications, and associated documentation and training.RESPONSIBILITIES:Parsons is seeking a Web Developer of various experience levels to perform the following:Design, create, test, and maintain web sites and content that enrich and optimize the exchange of information and produce effective communications between the client and their customers.Interact with the team to gather and define requirements.Analyze requirements to determine the most effective web technologies to satisfy client's needs.Coordinate creation and collection of necessary technology components and integrate them into a coherent site design.Follow a formal design process that includes adhering to laws, standards, and established guidelines for development and delivery of the web site end product.Design and develop visually-pleasing, content rich, user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation.Deliver comprehensive web site solutions to satisfy customer requirements.Maintain configuration management.REQUIRED CAPABILITIESUse a variety of internet technologies, techniques and tools such as graphics software applications and object-oriented languages (eg Java, CGI, Visual Basic, HTML, XML) to create web page elements such as user interface features, site animation, special effects, databases, and e- business applicationsMaintain a functioning user-accessible websiteCodes less complex websites using HTML, Visual Basic, or other web-based programming languagesSupport website planning and deploymentWrite documentation regarding the website's technical requirementsMaintain website technical documentation to assist with website maintenance and upgradesApply concepts, develops, tests, maintain and supports high-performance, innovative web- based applicationsTroubleshoot software problems and provide solutions to overcome those problems using the latest technologiesWork with management and information technologists to determine specificationsExcellent communication skills both oral and written.QUALIFICATIONSFour (4) years experience as a Web DeveloperBachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.Four (4) years of additional web developer experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.The position may require a COVID vaccination or an approved accommodation/exemption for a disability/medical condition or religious belief as required by federal, state, provincial or local mandates or customer requirements.
