Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Digital Networks Applications Department (DNA) has a requirement to provide enterprise-wide Information Technology (IT) services to the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and its respective customers. The DNA is part of the NAWCAD Digital, Analytics, Infrastructure and Technology Advancement (DAiTA) Group. The DNA, at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Patuxent River, Maryland, provides IT, Information Management (IM), and Information Assurance (IA) products and services to all Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC), Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Headquarters, other Department of the Navy (DON) components, and the fleet. This includes support across the entire NAVAIR IT enterprise including, Navy/Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT) Network, Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN), Secret Defense Research Engineering Network (SDREN), Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPR), Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPR), stand-alone systems, laboratories and ranges.The Contractor shall provide timely, quality, and technically accurate Cyber Security services that comply with the DON, Department of Defense (DOD), Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), and other national level mandated policies. Successful task performance ensures that an effective Cyber Security Program is in place for the NAWCAD business units and supported NAVAIR program activities. The Contractor shall possess extensive knowledge and practical application/implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to support Assessment and Authorization (A) of Information Technology (IT) systems, networks, operational technology, and aviation platforms under NAWCAD's and NAVAIR's cognizance. The Contractor must have knowledge of current National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800 Series. Additionally, the Contractor shall provide support in the areas of Computer Network Defense (CND), as well as Information Systems Security Management (ISSM) support. As the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for legacy, NMCI, and the RDT Network for Navy applications, systems, and networks, the Contractor shall perform detailed analysis and review of all RMF packages, CND, and Cyber Security Management data to maintain an appropriate level of Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability (CIA) for NAVAIR IT environments. These systems and networks are located in various types of computing environments and test facilities throughout the NAVAIR community, as well as systems that are deployed across the operational Naval Aviation Enterprise. Cyber Security support services are provided to NAVAIR and related business partners throughout DON and DOD, including various Joint Service programs and projects.Information Security Analysts (Junior):Functional Responsibility/Principal Duties: Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protectionof computer networks and information. Assess system vulnerabilities for security risks and propose and implement riskmitigation strategies. Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vitalelectronic infrastructure. 1-3 years of Information Assurance (IA) or Cyber Security experience is required. RiskManagement Framework (RMF) experience is required.Information Security Analysts (Journeyman):Functional Responsibility/Principal Duties: Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protectionof computer networks and information. Assess system vulnerabilities for security risks and propose and implement riskmitigation strategies. Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vitalelectronic infrastructure. 3-10 years of Information Assurance (IA) or Cyber Security experience is required. RiskManagement Framework (RMF) experience is required.Information Security Analysts (Senior):Functional Responsibility/Principal Duties: Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protectionof computer networks and information. Assess system vulnerabilities for security risks and propose and implement riskmitigation strategies. Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vitalelectronic infrastructure. 10 years of Information Assurance (IA) or Cyber Security experience is required. RiskManagement Framework (RMF) experience is required.Requirements One of the following certifications: Certified Information Security Manager or Certified Information System Security Professional (or Associate) or Global Information Assurance Certification Security Leadership Certification or Certified Chief Information Security Officer or Certified Authorization Professional or Computer Network Defense Cloud+, Global Information Assurance Certification Security Leadership Certification, Security+ Continuing Education US Security Clearance - Secret with Single Scope Background Investigation
