Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesOur HR department is searching for an energetic, self-starter to fill an entry-level HR Specialist position. The ideal candidate will have a desire to learn, be well-organized, detail-oriented, and have a genuine interest in the human resources field. This position is responsible for maintaining HR databases, recruiting efforts, policy administration, on-boarding, and employee engagement.Responsibilities will include: Providing effective employee assistance/service to employees with problem resolution and questions related to Human Resources programs Assisting with recruitment support functions as needed, ie scheduling interviews, drafting offer letters, sending new and post hire information Processing payroll for AutoChem employees Conducting new hire orientation including preparing new hire packets and explaining benefits and policies Maintaining human resources databases, computer software systems and manual filing systems related to HR transactions (benefit plan participation, hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations) Maintaining HR data tracking outside of SAP HCM (eg tuition reimbursement, org charts, HR metrics, etc.) Participating in the development and implementation of departmental goals Maintaining HR SharePoint sites, federal and state required postings, and company announcements Assisting with Immigration/Visa application process Supporting new and existing employee engagement activities What You Need to Succeed Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred Two (2) years of HR experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with personnel at all levels within the organization Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, excellent follow-through and the ability to multi-task Continuous improvement approach towards work processes Proven PC skills and experience using various software packages are required (Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Approachable, professional and ability to adhere to high levels of confidentiality and integrity at all times Outstanding time management skills and the ability to work in a very fast-paced environment SAP knowledge preferred Our Offer to YouMedical, dental and vision care coverage and a 401(k) savings plan with company matching - all starting on date of hire Tuition reimbursement, perks, and discounts Parental and caregiver leave programsAll the usual benefits such as paid time off, flexible spending, short-and long-term disability, basic life insurance, business travel insurance, Employee Assistance Program, and domestic partner benefits Global market strength and worldwide leadership in precision instrumentation A brand name that is identified worldwide with precision, quality, and innovationThousands of patents, design and innovation awards across Mettler Toledo Global recognition for the quality of our products and servicesAbout Mettler ToledoWorking at METTLER TOLEDO AutoChem Inc.
