Kforce has a client seeking to hire a Credit Analyst in Owings Mills, Maryland (MD).Responsibilities include: * Manage a profitable portfolio of business within the parameters agreed upon with the Regional Director of Information & Grading, utilizing sound credit analysis techniques * Credit Analysts monitor high risk buyers and solicit proprietary information for database by establishing a rapport and maintaining contact with Finance Directors, Treasurers, through visits telephone, and written correspondence * Will also utilize all information available arrive at consistent grading of buyers within authority and make detailed recommendations to Supervisor and Regional Director when outside authority * Perform financial and credit analysis to determine the appropriate credit rating of company being analyzed * Communicate with Sales Agents and Commercial Underwriters and customers as to underwriting requirements regarding industry outlooks and target markets * Responsible for the creation of industry sector outlooks (from both public and proprietary information) to determine underlying market trends * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance; MBA preferred * 5 to 7 (3-5 for non-Senior level) years of experience in financial management experience in banking, credit insurance brokerage, or a credit insurance environment * Excellent computer skills, with an understanding of financial software, statements, and spreadsheet packages Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
