In Vitro Research Associate

Piper Companies is looking to identify a candidate for an In-Vitro focused Research Associate position in Rockville, MD. The Research Associate will be working within a well-established Clinical Research Organization providing hands-on technical support to various ongoing scientific studies.Responsibilities of the Research Associate:The full-time Research Associate is responsible for conducting in vitro experiments such as cell culture, Elisa, influenza plaque assays for viral load, PRNP neutralization assays, ELISA, and ELISPOT in order to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations.Will be working within a BLS2 and BSL3 laboratory performing techniques that are supportive of the intended research provided in the approved protocol.Provide hands-on technical support to all sample processes including, sample testing, logging samples, receiving samples, and documenting study sample outcomes.Manages all logistical aspects pertaining to the study including paperwork, drug research, immunogens, and preparing as well as processing virus and infected samples.
