Job Summary:
Westat has an immediate opening for a researcher with program evaluation experience to work on both large- and small-scale evaluation studies involving a range of program and policy contexts. This is a full time position with flexibility for partial telework arrangement.
Job Responsibilities:
• Work with study collaborators and clients on the design, implementation, and analysis of a wide spectrum of studies.
• Design evaluation studies.
• Proposal and report writing.
• Participate in the development of published manuscripts.
Basic Qualifications:
• A Master's degree in social sciences or health related field and 5 years of research experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• A Ph.D. degree in social sciences or health related field.
• A strong background in research methods and evaluation design, experience with mixed method approaches and quantitative and qualitative analytic skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Possess excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Work independently as well as in a team environment.
