We are seeking a Product Analytics Intern for Summer 2022 to join our team and assist in the implementation and growth of our product analytics practice. In this role, you will be embedded in the Arc XP Photo Center and Video Center teams, our core digital asset management tools. We are working with third party vendors to implement product analytics tooling to better understand user behavior on the platform. Arc XP Photo Center and Video Center are used by professional photographers, videographers, visual editors, marketers, and more to craft compelling visual storytelling online. We'd like your help to capture product analytics and evaluate how these users are engaging with our products.
This role will include day-today collaboration with product managers, designers, software engineers, client account managers, and other key internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is an organized, critical thinker who communicates effectively and eagerly engages with colleagues across areas of the business.
This is a paid full-time internship that will span 90 days from May to August 2022. Start and end dates are flexible.
Location: Chicago, Washington D.C. or New Haven, CT preferred. Expectation is 1-2 days per week in person and 3+ days weekly remote. Our headquarters are in Chicago and Washington, D.C. and our Director of Content Product is based in New Haven.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of new product analytics tools within the Arc XP Photo Center and Video Center apps
- Compile KPI reports and dashboards to share app performance with senior leadership
- Assist with creation of in-app guides to improve user experience and drive feature adoption
- Track user behavior and improvements from feature updates we deploy during the summer
- Learn about Agile methodology, servant-leadership, and building consensus to drive outcomes
- Provide guidance and coaching to Arc XP product and design teams to encourage internal adoption of product analytics tools
Minimum Qualifications
- Rising college junior or senior progressing toward a bachelor's degree, or a master's candidate
- Working toward degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, Mathematics, or a comparable field
- Due to the opportunity to work remotely during COVID-19, we seek interns who are self-motivated, assertive in asking for help, and able to be self-sufficient while working in an online team
- A collaborative spirit and a proven ability to work well with others, building strong partnerships across teams
- Inquisitive and curious problem solver always looking to understand the "why"
- Excellent at both written and spoken communication
- Familiarity with or a desire to quickly learn product analytics software such as Google Analytics, Heap, or Pendo, and in-app guidance software such as Pendo, WalkMe, or Appcues
- Access to reliable high-speed internet for remote work
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience using analytics, user research, and other approaches to help make informed decisions to guide product development
- Experience with SaaS CMS or enterprise SaaS software
- Experience in the content management platform space as a writer, photographer or videographer in a media organization.
- Experience as a software developer
- Experience in digital publishing
