Major Duties
As a Supervisory Grants Management Specialist, you will exercise full technical responsibility for grants management and the administration of the Agency's nationwide grant program.
Your major duties and responsibilities include:
- Using innovative qualitative and/or quantitative methods to assess and improve the effectiveness of the Branch's operations and the administration of grants and cooperative agreements throughout HRSA.
- Serving as a nationally recognized and respected authority and Agency spokesperson on a diverse range of issues related to grants administration with particular emphasis on the areas under the jurisdiction of his/her Branch.
- Developing, formulating, implementing, and clarifying policies and procedures for grants and other federal financial assistance mechanisms pertinent to the effective administration, management, and review of Agency grants.
- Serving as an expert advisor to HRSA management and component program managers on grants management matters and helps them to fully integrate grants, and cooperative agreements into the successful completion of their missions and Agency program operations.
