More information at www.vorbeck.comJob DescriptionVorbeck is seeking an electro mechanical technician with a multidisciplinary background and/or interest, to aid in the development, design, and testing of both conventional and flexible, printed electronics. A key aspect of this position will be the integration of these two technologies in product developments specific to customer and/or project manager's requests. Vorbeck participates in product development in a wide range of fields, from apparel, industrial, and military and first responders. The ideal candidate has technical knowledge and experience in multiple areas of electrical engineering, including but not limited to PCB population, and RF testing.Typical Work Activities: Fabricating wiring harness;Populating printed circuit boards (PCBs);Fabricating antennas;Testing PCBs, antennas and other electrical components;TroubleshootingReading design specifications and technical drawings; Recording, analyzing and interpreting test data; Qualifying the final product or system; Preparing product documentation; Monitoring a product in use to improve on future design.QualificationsQualificationsBSE in electrical engineering or related field, or experience as electrical technician with a minimum of a high school diploma.Must have extensive hands-on experience in soldering, populating and testing PCBMachine shop experience or operating CNC machines and 3D printers is a plusStrong oral/written communication skills; a positive, open-minded attitude; as well as an ability to work in a team environment or independently as requiredAbility to multitask and handle multiple projects at the same timeAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
