Responsibilities: Peraton is currently seeking a mid-levelContracts Administratorto work on our growing team. The person who fills this role will manage proposals, administration, and general business processes of contract management for government programs under the National Security Space Business Unit supporting various government customers.This position can be filled in the Northern Virginia or Melbourne Fl geographical areas. This is not a remote work position. This position requires US Citizenship and a Security Clearance.Manage a portfolio of contracts of various types, complexities, and sizes. Portfolio includes services and development contracts for mission critical software and hardware systems.Partner with program teams to provide daily advice regarding contractual and business matters. Engage with multiple functions to support problem solving and providing creative solutions on various contractual problem sets.Participate in proposal development and advise the growth and technical teams on contracting strategies and risk mitigation and avoidance. Lead the proposal team in addressing Organizational Conflict of Interest matters. Support the finance function in ensuring compliance with financial reporting and invoicing requirements and for a positive impact on company revenue, cash generation and profitability. Develop strong internal and external customer relationships, interacting frequently, and working with customers toresolve issues and streamline processes.Timely analyze, prepare and negotiate contractual agreements such as Teaming & Non-Disclosure Agreements, Contracts, Subcontracts, and other binding agreements.Ensure project compliance with government contracting requirementsEnsure compliance the company contracts policies and procedures, including maintaining complete and accurate contracts files and any necessary internal reportingManage the start-up and close-out process for all assigned projects. Qualifications: Security Requirements TS Clearance, US Citizenship REQUIRED. Active SCI PreferredRequired QualificationsBachelors Degree in Business or related field plus a minimum of 7 years of contracts management experience in industry. (Will consider additional related work experience in lieu of education requirement). Experience must reflect at least 7 years experience in the following:Working proposal responses to Request for Proposal (RFP), participating in RFP and proposal review meetings, contract pre-award meetings, conducting negotiations, and drafting/finalization of contracts; Familiarity with Organizational Conflict of Interest mattersManaging Government Contracts as a Prime and Subcontracts with other Government Contractors under FAR and DFAR; Familiarity with Export RequirementsPreparing, maintaining, retrieving, and communicating records, reports, or documents that may be required to meet corporate and Contract Management requirementsInterfacing with all levels of the project team, including representing and interfacing with all levels of internal and/or external management and corporate organization.
