Orlans PC, an innovative default law firm representing servicers and secured creditors in multiple jurisdictions, is seeking an Associate Attorney (3 to 7 years' experience) to support the firm's Foreclosure practice. Successful candidates with the ability to adapt and be open to assist in additional departments (like bankruptcy) is a plus.The candidate may also can work remote with the ability to work from home supported with Orlans PC equipment and technology, or the flexibility to work in our office. This position reports to the Managing Foreclosure Attorney.Mustbe licensed in one or more of our ten jurisdictions, ideally licensed in multiple jurisdictions preferred. Orlans will support candidates who are also willing to waive into others as needed as well as respective bankruptcy courts. Orlans PC jurisdictions include Delaware, Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia, Massachusetts, Michigan, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Florida.Major Roles with Accountabilities:Provide legal and compliance review of all foreclosures.Proofing and review of all foreclosure documents, deeds, dockets, pleadings, sale reports, accountings, and other documents to achieve client objectives.Works closely with practice group's lead foreclosure attorney and to meet firm goals and client expectations.Willing to cross-train and learn other areas of the practice as needed.Timely advise clients and staff on file-specific legal matters.Continuously improve and stay current with the law impacting our clients and our practice.Conduct PACER reviews to determine whether foreclosure may proceed.Requirements:3-7 years of foreclosure attorney experienceJuris Doctorate in LawAttorney Bar in good standingCompensation & Benefits:Orlans offers a competitive market-based salary, work/life balance and based on hours worked benefits including medical/dental/vision/RX, Short and Long-term disability, paid-time off, 401(k) Plan with company match.Orlans is an Equal Opportunity Employer
