Job DescriptionVidoori, Inc., a rapidly growing small business that specializes in building strong Engineering teams that provide high quality, modern technical solutions to our clients, is seeking a Product Manager who will:Takes full responsibility for the vision and profitability of the Vidoori product lineWork closely with various teams to make business decisions and create product strategies that ensure long term sustainabilityConduct market research including working in the field to understand target user's needs and issues, and find innovative solutions for existing and new market segmentsWill work with Vidoori leadership to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customers.Serve as the internal and external subject matter expert for product offerings, working with the sales channel and key clientsManage the product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activitiesSpecify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research using multiple channels supported by on-going calls and visits to customers and prospectsPrepare, maintain, and evangelize the product roadmap which defines product enhancements for short and long-term releasesDeveloping and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, overseeing interdepartmental activities to execute plansAnalyzing potential partner relationships for the product.Define feature roadmap for Vidoori's products based on business opportunities and market researchPropose an overall sales strategy and product budget to ensure successWork with leadership and other contributors to evaluate and prioritize opportunities and develop strategyCreate feature descriptions to provide guidance to Development Team and contribute and approve the product-related Business Requirements Documents.Validate detailed specifications and development costing versus market potential and future predictable revenue.Monitor and analyze new technologies and inform company of their potential applications to our businessDevelop and when necessary deliver concise and meaningful presentations for internal and external audiences, training of support groups, train the trainer programs, and presentations at symposia, trade shows, and key customer accountsAct as a product champion within the companyArticulate the business value and impact of why a functional or technical improvement or enhancement is justified.Develop and maintain a prioritized list of customer and market requirements for the productDefine and quantify the impact of new features being considered for inclusion in a product releaseDefine and drive functional and technical strategy and product roadmapsDevelop in-depth knowledge of competitor products, identify and maintain competitive strengths and weaknesses.Develop sales and product collateral as well as go-to- market and launch materialsExperience and SkillsRequired: Previous Product Manager experience with strong performance in- developing and deploying key market messages and communication strategies for a commercial software product,- developing a commercial software marketing strategy,- feature prioritization and road map planning,- performing market assessments,- pricing and revenue modeling,- defining and tracking success metrics.Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and discuss technical designs.Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with business analysts, software team, engineering leadership, senior management, and internal and external stakeholdersCapable of clearly and effectively conveying issues, reports, and other deliverables to engineering and customer counterparts.Team Player, decision maker, coordinator, go between and referee.Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.Accurate and precise attention to detailTechnical prowess. You are knowledgeable in software solution architecture.Scrum/Agile experiencePreferred:Product Management and Project Management CertificationsCertification for Product Strategy or Product Management preferred but not required.Experienced subject matter expert in Performance Testing markets and ability to provide vision and leadership to technology R efforts.Previous experience with developing and deploying key market messages and communication strategies for a commercial software product.Previous experience as a Product OwnerTechnologies and Tools: Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, JMS, HTML5, CSS, XML, JSON, Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, Unix/Linux, Windows, Oracle, Jenkins, HP Tools (ALM, AGM, PPM), Serena Business Manager, SPLUNK, AppDynamics, GitHub, JIRA, Bitbucket, C#, .NET, Visual Basic, Visual Studio, XCode, Android Studio, Crystal Reports, Infragistics, Microsoft SQL ServerExperience: Seeking twelve (12) years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or ten (10) years of experience with a Master's Degree
