Position SummaryProvides support and coordination for government contracts to include as needed supporting proposal development and providing administrative support for the department as needed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.Establishes strong relationships with our staff on the ground in Kuwait and with appropriate representatives from the prime contractor (Vectrus) either in theater or stateside.Assists with recruitment of new hires and is responsible for managing and tracking each new employee within the deployment process.Collaborates with leadership on the development of effective recruitment and retention tools.Coordinates the professional development initiative.Supports all other government contracts as needed to include the invoicing and accrual process.Designs and populates various operational reports to track the effectiveness of operational activities.Assists with payroll administration as the point person in the DC office and is the liaison with staff on the ground in Kuwait to ensure zero errorsWorks directly with staff on the ground in Kuwait to demobilize recently resigned or terminated staff.Coordinates reimbursements for travel allowance and continuing education programs as well as other business-related expenses as approved by the Program Manager.Coordinates travel of staff to and from Kuwait and other areas as required. Qualifications Education Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university with major coursework related to the area of assignment and three years of experience within or related to the programming assignment.Experience 2 years of administrative or project-related experience.Proficiency with Microsoft software (Excel, etc.) is required.Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.Experience with international and government contracts is an asset
