Kforce has a client that is seeking an Audit Analyst in Chantilly, VA.Key Tasks: * Audit Analyst will evaluate internal control environments, identify control gaps, and document these in a risk and control matrix * Design procedures for and conduct internal control testing (both test of design and test of operating effectiveness) in accordance with guidance (ie, Circular OMB A123, FIAR, GAO, etc.) * Design and implement corrective action plans to remediate audit findings * Design and evaluate business process documentation and standard operating procedures * Evaluate SOC 1 reports * Assist with accounting and financial management operations * As an Audit Analyst, you will evaluate business processes and identify opportunities for efficiencies * Perform research and data analysis on abnormal balances and accounting reconciliations * Running and evaluating business intelligence reports in the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) * Six or more years of experience in audit/audit readiness/audit remediation/internal controls/abnormal balance analysis * Experience with Complementary User Entity Controls (CUECs) * GFEBS experience * Experience performing audit activities for the Army, Defense Health Agency, or other Department of Defense organization Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
