The Opportunity Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a banquet server to join our team at Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Maryland. As a banquet Server, you will provide outstanding guest service while serving food and beverage products in a banquet setting ensuring that Oriole Park at Camden Yards guest needs are being met in a postive, efficient, and courtreous manner.Responsibilities Sets up tables for function in accordance with the banquet event order.Accurately transports food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.Performs necessary tasks to service guests such as taking and filling drink orders, providing refills, answering questions, and clearing dirty dishes.Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures.Monitors guest needs on a continual basis ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled; handles any guest complaints.Replenishes food on buffet lines (if applicable).. Performs other duties as assignedMaintains a safe and clean environment for guests and fellow associates.Breaks down events according to company procedures.Supports Banquet Attendants and Bartenders to ensure proper and timely; event set up, execution and break down and that quality service is provided for all meeting and banquet guests.Communicate with Staff, Supervisor or Management to determine daily priorities and be accountable for completing tasks as delegated.Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older.Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.Excellent guest service skills.Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills, including listening skills and ability to take food and beverage orders and fill those orders correctly.Physical Requirements Ability to stand or walk, including up and down stairs, for the entire length of shift.Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.Mobility to maneuver between tables.Who We Are At Delaware North, you'll love where you work, who you work with, and how your day unfolds.
