Our partner is looking to hire a Senior Compensation and HRIS Analyst for a remote position. Candidates have to live in Atlanta, GA, Charleston, SC, or Huntsville, AL. RESPONSIBILITIES:Participate in and assist in the development, implementation and administration of compensation and HRIS policies and programsFormulate recommendations regarding development of company salary structure, FLSA exemptions, job revisions, job descriptions and organizational structuresParticipate in and analyze various salary surveys to determine market position and develop recommendationsBenchmark jobs to market data. Conduct job analysis, evaluation and salary administration to determine appropriate salary grades, ranges, and pricing based on internal and externalApply knowledge of HR information systems and data in extracting and analyzing current and historical data to support strategic workforceServe as internal liaison with the payroll department and staff management on compensation mattersReview and process compensation change requests to ensure compliance with established guidelines, policies and practicesDesign & develop complex reporting and analysis through generated reports from various databases using ad hoc queries and reporting tools to produce meaningful metrics; monitor and generate reports related to employee records, to include but not limited to, employment and separation, fulfill open records requests, demographics reports, salary surveys,Perform data audits and troubleshooting within Excel and HRISResponsible for EEO-1, Vets-4212 and Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) compliance reporting and submissionKeep apprised of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure Company complianceRequirementsBroad, practical knowledge of Compensation and HRIS techniques and methodsProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPointStrong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skillsDESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:Significant attention to detail in the maintenance of spreadsheets, databases and communicationsAbility to analyze and interpret data and statistics associated with compensation tasksStrong business acumen and ability to respond to request for information in a courteous mannerCompensation or HR experience
