Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Manager, Utilization Review who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Manager, Utilization Review you will:
•Implements care management programs, including utilization review
•Evaluates staff clinical reviews and guidelines and organizational standards (e.g., JCAHO, COMAR, HIPPA, Federal and State Regulations.)
•Ensure all staff is sending concurrent reviews and are done timely and proper authorizations are obtained.
•Provide basic documentation training to all new hires during orientation.
•Assist with policy and procedures for department and facilitate education regarding performance improvement
•Helps implements short and long term goals to improve workflows and vision of organization
•Manages staffs needs and coordinates needs of the department
•Collaborate and communicates with physicians, staff and other team members
•Help streamline workflows, while monitoring and providing feedback to staff
•Supports initiatives of the department which are consistent with organizational mission, vision, values, and goals

Qualifications include:
•Bachelor's degree in nursing or Master preferred
•Minimum of 7 years' experience working in Case Management/Utilization Management
•2 years' progressive managerial/supervisory experience
•Current unrestricted Maryland nursing license
