Job Description We provide extensive, hands-on technical training to the right candidates. We are a naturally "COVID SAFE" work environment; outside in the fresh air. We are looking for people who can work one to three days/week on a regular schedule during pool season from (approximately) May to September. This can be a part-time additional gig for someone who needs extra income, a retiree looking for part-time work that will keep you in shape, or a part-time job with aspirations of eventually working full time. We need bright, trainable, honest hard workers for a fast-growing swimming pool and outdoor living company with very high standards. We train continuously and some of the training requires travel. Full-time employment (year-round) is possible for the right candidate. Training and education are continuous. We use the latest technology to service our customers and train our employees (Pool Ops). We try to hire for attributes and attitude versus pure experience. We can train the right personall our full-time salaried employees came to us with zero pool experience. Starting pay will be based on background and skills and is negotiable depending on education and experience. You must have the capability of operating independently and the ability to drive our vehicles (pickup trucks and vans). Duties may include Closing/Opening residential and commercial pools, maintenance/cleaning of residential and commercial pools, safety cover installation, vinyl liner installation, plaster preparation, pool plumbing repair and installation, pressure washing, demolition and prep for renovation and construction, caulking, leak detection and repair, landscape light installation, awning installation, light construction, and other tasks in and around backyards. The work is physically demanding at times. Qualities we are looking for in a new hire include: someone who pays close attention to detail, responsible, clean cut and presentable, punctual, learns quickly, team player, and the ability to work independently when needed. You will need reliable transportation to make it to our office each day. We work Monday-Friday 7:00am until around 5:00pm during the busy season. Additionally: We need a couple of vinyl liner installers to compose a liner installation crew. Pay is higher than competitors, based on volume and quality.
