Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm)You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the US as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities: Develop, perform and manage the analyses of business and financial metrics as well as performance measures Develop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan, forecast and budget Track and reconcile provider receivables Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual financial reporting for state customer Work closely with the business to help develop plans and processes that will improve profitability and cost efficiencies Prepare annual financial plans and quarterly forecasts for the Maryland program, including workforce productivity reviews and FTE forecasts Prepare weekly claims payment reporting to the state customer Prepare bank reconciliations for accounts used for claims payments Proactively seek opportunities to improve processes and identify areas of improvement Participate in a wide variety of special projects and evaluate new business opportunities Track and analyze expenditures, identifying trends, variances and potential performance improvement opportunities Assist with ad hoc requestsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of financial and operational management experience Experience working collaboratively in a high growth, matrix environment Experience anticipating accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, and operational issues, assessing their implications, and developing and implementing an appropriate action plan Intermediate proficiency with MS Word, Excel Executive presence with solid communication and influencing skills (ability to translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences) Demonstrated leadership qualities and leadership potentialPreferred Qualifications: Healthcare experience Experience with Hyperion Essbase / Smart View PeopleSoft Financials experience Solid understanding of Income Statement structure and use Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $71,400 to $127,400.
