Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.We are seeking a Manager, Organization Design and Assessment Solutions to join the Northrop Grumman Corporate Talent organization and support major organizational transformations to achieve business results. This position reports to the Director of Organization Effectiveness and is based in Falls Church and may require some travel.In this role, the selected candidate will be expected to:Org DesignGuide and consult with business leaders and HR partners on enterprise-wide organization transformations and large-scale organization interventions.Design and implement organizational structural design changes to achieve business objectives, including assessing the impacts to capabilities, organization design, workflow, tools, roles and behaviorsDefine and assess the needed organization design and lead the development and delivery of a structured change management plan to support enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, including stakeholder assessments, communications, organizational transition, change readiness, and capability transferCollect, share, and publicize resources, tools and best practices to support cultural transformation and HR capabilities evolutionDeliver and maintain the tools and processes to measure and report out outcomes related to organizational effectiveness initiativesAssessment SolutionsDevelop strategy and process for assessing employee and job candidate capabilities needed for job and organization success.Provide guidance and recommendations to executive leadership on effective assessment integration and its alignment with organization strategy and goals.Conduct assessments, implement strategies, and make recommendations to create systemic cultural shifts, improve the employee experience, and increase organization effectiveness.Coordinate with subject matter experts in the development of tests and assessments that measure job-relevant knowledge, skills, competencies, and personal attributes.Ensure assessments and validation efforts are legal and defensibleProvide briefings and recommendations to leaders and stakeholders at all levels across the enterprise in a compelling and understandable way for a non-technical audience.Build effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders supporting the alignment and continuity of assessment and development across organizations and programsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience in Organization Development, Organization Effectiveness and/or Organization Design, Industrial Psychology or related field with experience leading the implementation and assessments used for employee development and selection.Practical experience in a broad range of organization design principles, methodologies and tools; strong understanding of how people work through the org change processes with deep implementation experience.Demonstrated experience leading organizational assessments that result in strategies which improve performance and business outcomes.Experience in assessment development and validation.Experience in survey design and analysis.Demonstrated consulting experience and experience in facilitating large-scale organizational transformation.Practical experience managing projects and serving as the org design and assessment SME on project teams.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, SharePoint)Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Organization Development, Organization Design Industrial / Organizational Psychology, Human Resources.Professional certifications in Organization Design models and Change Management (Prosci certification preferred).Prior experience in Aerospace and Defense industry or consulting firm with deep experience in large scale transformations.Acute business acumen and critical thinker with demonstrated understanding of organizational issues and challenges.Outstanding organization and project management skills.Collaborative team player, highly capable of working with and through othersForward looking problem solver, capable of identifying root causes, appropriate mitigation plans and grounded in the academic/theory but with practical implementation approaches.Flexible, adaptable, agile and resilient; ability to work in ambiguous situationsExcellent communications skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.#LI-JH1Salary Range: 116160 - 174240Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
