This exciting and innovative program is leveraging best practices in system engineering, via Digital Engineering processes and technology, and in agile software development, via DevSecOps development. We are looking for creative talent who ready to take on the challenge of integrating major space systems and associated ground elements from concept into an operational enterprise. SAIC is seeking a senior program leader responsible to serve as "right hand" to Senior Program Manager and manage the operations of a large, complex and dynamic program for Government Customers. Roles and responsibilities to include: Overall responsibility for technical, cost, schedule, quality, and earned value management reporting for subcontracted Ground Segment development Leads an integrated management team that includes software development, acquisition, systems engineering, oversight of subcontractor work activities Manages the staffing of the program, maintain talent pipeline and shape current, future and emerging talent Serve as the primary interface for subcontractor workflow and PMO Operations Interfaces frequently with Government stakeholders Qualifications TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and eighteen (18) years or more experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more experience; PhD or JD and fifteen years or more experience. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Current, active TS clearance REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS: Current Top Secret clearance, TS/SCI preferred Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering or related business field 14+ years professional experience with focus on managing projects and engineering teams in excess of 100 technical staff and multiple subcontractors Comprehensive knowledge of Ground Systems for space based missions Requires strong written and verbal presentation skills including formal and informal presentation of work and assessments to critical audience Outstanding customer relationship management skills Demonstrated ability to drive successful execution of tasks Experience with Earned Value Management Experience with DevSecOps and Agile software development methodologies COVID Policy: Prospective and/or new employees are required to adhere with SAIC's vaccination policy.
