The ideal candidate will be willing to work towards being an independent business development represntative.Responsibilities For Strategic Support Specialist (Remote)Support sales team partners across all revenue growth opportunitiesAnswer customer inquiries, schedule meetings, and sales appointments, and follow up with customersAssist during client pitches; capture client needs and insightsExplore Pardot scores to elevate potential leadsCreate LOA's (Letters of Agreement/contracts)Develop and execute campaigns to resurrect low-stage accounts or follow up on leadsProvide the sales team with data reports and sales guidesKnowledge of sales practices and the most efficient customer service techniquesAbility to interpret sales metrics and perform data entryPerforming data entry duties in regards to metrics, sales figures, and other key dataMarket research through social and professional platforms including LinkedInIdentify and distinguish key targets in our database and assess their current business methods.Work with clients at the time of contact to collect accounting contacts and PO numbers, learn the client's accounting/procurement procedures, and ensure the SB invoice is properly entered into the account's system.Work with Finance department to ensure accurate tracking of sales & invoicingCompile lists of sales leads, delegate leads to the sales department, and provide sales data and guides to the sales department.Identify where improvement is needed in sales practices and make suggestions for improvementsCollaborate with managers and salespeople to learn best practices in processes and sales tools and share them throughout the team.Administrative duties for the sales department or team, for example, maintaining an accessible and organized filing system for the Business Development department, including sales materials, email templates, and LOAsProficient in computer software systems including Google Drive, MS Powerpoint, and MS ExcelKnowledge of sales software systems including SalesforceVery strong communication and interpersonal skillsSupport marketing efforts by assisting in online and other marketing campaignsAbout You/Desired ExperienceBA or BS degreeRelevant experience in sales, preferably as a sales planner or in an account management roleDesire to work with and understand dataStrong knowledge of the Google Workspace (formerly G-Suite)Experience with Salesforce required; may consider other CRM experience.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environmentAbility to work effectively with a teamHighly organized and focused with strong attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical and project management skills
