As a Software Architect you will work with teams to assess the functional requirements to identify the best design and technologies to use for the development and implementation for the customer.Required Skills / Experience:Experience managing and leading technical teams.Experience with the customization of bi-directional Cross Domain services related to COTS products, Agile and/or Waterfall software development and software design and testing.Strong technical background in software development and modification; familiarity with Oracle, SQL or comparable databases.Demonstrated success in designing Solutions and bringing these through development and to implementation.Able to define end-to-end Solution architecture.Excellent oral and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to non technical staff.Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline.Certification in any of the following or field-related certifications:Certified IT Architect (CITA-P), Certified SOA Architect (SOA), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MSCD), Certified Agile Developer (CAD), Certified System Architect (CSA).Active TS/SCI, candidate must be willing and able to attain a CI polygraph.COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement: To protect the health and safety of its employees and to comply with customer requirements, GDIT may require employees in certain positions to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
