This position is eligible for SAIC's National Security Sign-On Bonus which pays within 30 days of start.SAIC's National Intelligence Community (NIC) business unit, USG Mission and Information Technology division provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as system engineering, cloud computing, cyber security, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence / machine learning, application development, SecDevOps, network operations, and secure communications.SAIC is seeking a candidate that can provide general maintenance of a software solution built using Amazon Web Services and both custom and commercial software. Responsibilities will include working with the development team to keep the various environments (dev, test, and prod) up to date with security and maintenance updates, monitoring the environments for issues, providing design suggestions for the environments, and supporting the automated deployments into the environments. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS:Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearanceMinimum of eight years of experience in a Developer, Systems Administration and/or Systems Engineer role. Experience and in-depth knowledge of AWS EC2 and RDS servicesExperience with Linux systems administrationExperience in an Agile development environment using Jira or other work tracking softwareExperience remediating issues found from security vulnerability scans (patching, operating system hardening)DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:Demonstrated experience in continuous integration and delivery tools (eg, Git) Demonstrated experience with LDAP/Active Directory Amazon certifications Experience working in an Agile scrum teamwork environmentCOVID Policy: Prospective and/or new employees are required to adhere with SAIC's vaccination policy.
