Description: Job Title: Scientist, Systems Engineer - Integration and Test (TS/SCI w/ CI Poly)Job Code: SAS20211911-73077Job Location: Chantilly, VA (on-site) / Colorado Springs, CO (remote with travel required)Job Description:This position will support the test effort for development of multiple ground-based mission systems and operations center from program inception to test verification and deployment. The Scientist Lead Test Engineer will define complex test strategies to verify mission capabilities while leading a team comprised of multiple internal organizations and subcontractors for the full integration and test of the mission system. The test engineer will be a point-of-contact for the government customer for test planning and will coordinate across government and stakeholder offices to define the test and evaluation plan.Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Engineering lead of the I automation team Professional leader and internal expert of complex projects Broad experience across multiple job areas Develops or champions new concepts and technologies Product Owner (PO) of the test and demonstration team Implements strategic goals focused on automation and working directly with project leadership Strong communication skills with internal teams, customers, and vendors Ensures team consistency and adhering to automation testing development principles and fostering automation, configuration management, and automated testing among the teams Experience with Selenium EggPlant Responsible for driving the team to verify requirements, and the traceability of the requirements into testing and demonstrations Ensures automation is used to the maximum extent possible with all test activities Coordinates with the DevSecOps teams to implement automation capabilities Ensures the team is maintaining production-like test environments I support overseeing internal team and subcontractors Contributes to CDRLs for program execution to ensure the program tests featuring automation testing are implement across the teams for unit, integration, deployment, and system testing Responsible for leading mission scenario based testing and demonstrations using Sensor IQ to drive realistic mission scenarios for test and demonstration Support and review test plans, test cases, and testing scripts for manual and automated testing Reviews testing records, documents, and discovered problems Experience in Agile & DevOps methodology and culture Epics/features/stories Backlog development Tasking Project release planning and execution Demonstrations Proficient at JIRA/Confluence (or equivalent) Direct test priorities in daily scrum meetings and sprint planning Clear and concise documentation of software issues Collaborate closely with the SW development team MagicDraw/MBSE Analyze user stories/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility Lead test development and peer review activities. Ensure complete and accurate test coverage. Create test to requirement traceability matrix Leads scenario based demonstrations and verification activities Lead demonstration readiness reviews and release demonstrations Attend and participate in project planning and execution meetings Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 12 years of prior related experience or Graduate degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience, or equivalent Active TS/SCI DoD Clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph eligibility Ability to travel ~25% Preferred Additional Skills: Active TS/SCI with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph DoD Clearance Able to handle multiple processes while testing cases and develop plan "fixes" Able to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
