Lead - Data Quality - work from home / remoteExpert Technical Solutions has an immediate opening for a Data Quality Lead with one of our premier clients. This is a full-time, permanent position offering excellent salary and benefits. We are open to candidates anywhere in the US, although Atlanta would be preferred, if possible - or at least someone open to working Eastern time zone hours.The Data Quality Technical Lead will be a part of an international team that manage, designs, develops, and delivers data quality to applications.The purpose of this position is to partner with Enterprise Architects, developers, and business leaders to ensure the overall health of the data quality support platform. The SAS DQ Technical Lead will collaborate with US-based leaders on governance standards. The role will have hands-on development and support accountabilities.Responsibilities Participate in an on-call rotation for system support Work with functional and technical teams that are in India and US. Designing and driving best practices in the implementation and execution of support processes Utilizing strong problem solving and analytical skills as well as good written and verbal communication skills to discuss best practices, requirements, support, status updates, etc. to audiences with varying levels of IT knowledge. Challenging the status quo and focusing on long-term value when designing solutions Using technical and process aptitude to come up to speed on new tools and concepts required for integration development and support. Collaborating with various IT teams such as infrastructure support, networking, database administrators, web development and business application developers. Management of the platform including support, performance, updates/upgrades, patches, licensing, troubleshooting, etc. Perform data quality analysis and report issues to stakeholders. Ensure the overall health of the platform in DEV, UAT, and PRODUCTION. Incident triage and escalation. Work along with the SAS DQ developer to ensure best practices are implemented. Identifying and implementing process improvements. Participate as a resource on small to large projects using both waterfall and agile methodologies. Requir Ed Skills Minimum of 8 years IT experience. Minimum of 4 years of experience in data quality. Experience in management of DevOps infrastructure and processes. Experience in SAS migrations / Updates / Upgrades. Experience in SAS administration including application performance tuning. Knowledgeable in SAS administration best practices, troubleshooting, and jobs automation. Expertise in SAS- DataFlux Data Management. Ability to create and execute jobs in Linux. Bachelor's degree in technology related field Preferred Skills Experience with distributed Source Control Management tools (GitLab). Experience in data virtualization. Strong verbal and written communication. Strong analytical and problem-solving skill Must be detailed-oriented. Ability to develop repeatable development processes with supporting documentation. Economic thinking Experience creating technical documentation
