POSITION IS 90% REMOTE AND 10% ONSITEEmbedded firmware engineer: This person can exist anywhere but will be required to be in the lab during bring up and debug of the units. Client is looking for a firmware/software engineer to write embedded C firmware for STM32 microcontrollers. It will be helpful for this person to have familiarity with the QSFP-DD CMIS specification but not a must. This person will be responsible for writing all of the CMIS compliant firmware for our designs and for creating any user interface GUI to communicate with the modules. This person should be fluent in ANSI C or C++ and C or some version of .Net for windows applications.. Establishing quality software processes and software testing methodologies. Planning software projects in C and creating requirements. Creating C libraries and modules for reuse. Creating C code on the STM32 that will be compliant to the CMIS 5.0 specification
