As part of this team, you will help choose the right IT tools to maximize the effectiveness of deployed defenses and rapidly troubleshoot impacted systems.Join us as a Security Monitoring Services Engineer on our Cybersecurity Engineering & Operations team in the United States to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.What you'll achieveAs a Security Monitoring Services Engineer, you will support the business as part of a team of infrastructure operationally-focused data AI and log analytics engineers. Working as part of a global team bringing their wider security knowledge and experience to projects, along with a deep understanding of SIEM and logging/monitoring technologies, you will provide data and visuals that improve cyber situational awareness.You will:Expand AIOps capability leveraging machine learning for orchestration of trends and identifying anomalies in logging dataResearch, evaluate, test, design and deliver enterprise-scale security solutions that satisfy security, business and customer requirementsIdentify data use (and misuse), gaps and opportunitiesDevelop complex solutions to business problems or customer engagements through in-depth analysis, coordination and negotiation with key decision makersDocument and diagram solutionsTake the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here's what we are looking for with this role:Essential RequirementsKnowledge of SIEM + logging/monitoring technologiesSys admin/team lead level of knowledge and experience supporting Enterprise Linux (server and desktop) and Windows environmentsStrong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on technical writing skills and the ability to explain complex problems to nontechnical teamsExperience of running tests/validation of products and solutions; demonstrating solutions, documentation and handover to support teamsDesired RequirementsKnowledge of Splunk and/or NetWitness Administration and other SIEM technologiesExperience with automation, SOAR/AIOPSExperience supporting cloud environmentsKnowledge of the SAFe Agile frameworkHere's our story; now tell us yoursDell Technologies helps organizations and individuals build a brighter digital tomorrow.
