If this sounds too amazing to be true, challenge us - go ahead, apply and see for yourself.Tech College Position Overview:As a Software Engineer for Tech College, you'll use your expertise in Software Engineering to design, develop, and deliver highly engaging learning experiences and solutions. You'll work with a team of engineers, designers, and learning specialists to develop products that will fuel our growth as a Tech company and help our associates develop cutting-edge skills.The Software Engineer will partner with the other Learning teams to deliver course materials for a range of associates from college hires to executives. You will use your technical experience to provide a class experience that is informative and collaborative. You will deliver content, manage labs, and answer questions from other capable engineers such as yourself.We understand you will also want to continue to develop your skills. When not facilitating you will get to work with other engineering teams within Tech College building great software using the tools you know and the tools you want to learn more about.Responsibilities:Provide subject matter expertise while facilitating Tech College Courses.Work with a team of Engineers to deliver effective learning experiences through a variety of modalitiesCollaborate on Tech College curriculum by assessing the feedback and learning of the studentsMaintain and improve technical labs for Tech College CoursesBuild amazing software applications to improve the ability of Tech College to make a difference for Capital one AssociatesBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's DegreeAt least 2 years of software development experienceAt least 1 years of experience architecting and implementing cloud hosted solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCPAt least 1 years of experience using CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, or TeamCity)Preferred Qualifications:1+ year of technology instruction experience in a school or enterprise environmentCloud computing certification (AWS Associate, AWS Professional, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, or Google Professional Cloud Architect)3+ years of experience in at least one of the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, Angular, Python, Java, or .NET1+ year of experience in Agile2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services1+ year of leveraging Docker or KubernetesAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.No agencies please.
