Full Time

  • Provides management employee relations support to one or more serviced customer organizations, assist with questions regarding collective bargaining agreements (if applicable).
  • Provides technical advice and assistance to assigned organizations in resolution of employee relations issues regarding discipline, adverse action, grievances, performance management and recognition, employee counseling and related functions.
  • Identifies, analyzes and resolves problems which require the interpretation and adaptation of standard operating procedures and practices, local and/or Army policies for delivering effective HR services to customers.
  • Advises and assists employees, managers and supervisors on grievance procedures (administrative and negotiated) and appropriate options for proper resolution of conflicts or problems.
  • Ensures disciplinary actions are taken in accordance with Army regulation and collective bargaining agreements. Drafts informal/formal letter/notices, which may include reprimands, proposals, decision letters and other correspondence for management.

  • This is a CHRA NAF Career Path II position. Incumbent must complete the requirements for CHRA NAF Career Path II within twenty-four (24) months of placement into the position
  • Pursuant to EO 14043, all Federal employees, regardless of duty location or work arrangement, must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by November 22, 2021, or before entrance on duty if after November 22, subject to exceptions as required by law.

  • Proof of vaccination will be required. To ensure compliance with this mandate, review the vaccination requirements, to include timelines for receiving required doses, at the following:


1. Possess eighteen (18) months or more of work experience in a human resources office which demonstrates knowledge in applying labor relations laws and management employee regulations.
2. Experience analyzing, evaluating and recommending appropriate resolutions to complex interrelated employee relations problems and issues.
3. Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)4. Ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems.

Highly Preferred : In addition to the qualifications listed above, applicants will possess six (6) months of prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office in an employee relations capacity and have successfully completed training in Customer Service, Organizational Structure, Basic Writing, and Time Management.
